The coaching and programming at CrossFit District 5 is unparalleled!! But that's not what keeps me coming back. It's the community that these guys have built. You belong here. I don't care who YOU are. I'm in my late 50's and have physical limitations and every challenging workout is tailored for me. It's personal training (without the $50/hr price tag) and the best of group fitness all in one. I'm 45 pounds less and much stronger at the same time! Show yourself some love and visit this gym! ​Exercise is very personal to me and it is a self-discovering experience. Finding the right place and right people to support throughout this journey is super important. I have been to many gyms/studios and have done many kinds of workout routines, hands down D5 is a great place to be and it has become the best part of my day.

No matter how big is the class I am seen. Dedicated and humble coaches customize the workout to fit me and my goal. D5 isn’t just a workout, it’s a lifestyle.

​CrossFit District 5 has helped me to achieve goals that I never thought possible. Class sizes offer a team atmosphere yet allow for personal attention and coaching.

The staff adapts each workout to fit your personal needs and fitness level so that everyone from the beginner to the elite athlete excels.  You will continue to find growth here if you put in the effort. After 3 years, I finally achieved my first pull up, and now I can't stop.  Everyone was so happy for me when I got it, because it's a big supportive family in here.

On my birthday I made a commitment to take back my health after years of struggling with weight gain. I was 208 pounds and struggling mentally because of it. I bought big jeans, larger shirts, and seemed to have given up on myself. I needed a change and I made a commitment to myself and my family that I would get healthy physically and mentally and turn my life around. 3 months later I had lost 29 pounds and 6 months later I had lost 38. I played baseball, basketball, and football in high school, and I am without a doubt in the best shape of my life right now. This is what seems like my 100th attempt to get fit and healthy, as I have struggled with my weight my entire life but never got anything to stick. I was able to find Crossfit District 5 and a coaches Elliott and Spencer to help fuel me to new heights. I cut out carbs (especially pizza and beer) and worked hard every day. I am not done yet by any means, but I couldn’t be happier with my progress to date! It’s been fun, and I have made wonderful friends. If you are struggling never stop trying! Keep trying new things and find what works for you! Can’t wait to see what the 1 year  photo looks like!

​If you have been on the fence of whether to try  CrossFit I can tell you it’s been so rewarding to join CrossFit District 5 .

For years I struggled with my weight and with motivation.

In 2014 started running and lost a tremendous amount of weight but as most runner mentality I did not do strength training and I mean never. The past 4 years I was the primary caregiver for my dad it gave me purpose it gave me tremendous gratitude to be able to do this. Overtime my running starting falling off and the weight started finding its way back. My dad passed in 2019 leaving me with an emptiness and I began to emotionally struggle. There were many days that just getting out of bed was more than I felt like I could do. Overtime I basically quit exercising at all until I was asked to come to
CrossFit District 5. The coaches and the athletes made me feel good always encouraging me and helping. Mentally and physically this journey has impacted me in so many ways and  now could not imagine not doing it. I’m no master but I can assure you I give it my all and those coaches do everything they can to help.

When you can get something that touches you in away you never saw coming count your blessings I know I do. I don’t have a before photo of the beginning. I can tell you that over eight week journey I’ve gotten stronger and I have done workouts I did not see possible. Doing this I have lost some weight and I can tell my body has changed significantly.

Come join the family and the challenges. Elliot and Spencer have been my coaches and I am truly appreciative for what they do.
